Terms of Use
Rise to 5K · Effective 20 August 2026
What Rise to 5K is
Rise to 5K is an interval-timer app with an eight-week run/walk training plan. It is provided free of charge, as is, for personal use.
Not medical advice
The app offers a general training plan, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a doctor before starting a new exercise programme — especially if you have a heart condition, an injury, or have been inactive for a long time — and stop exercising if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. You use the app and undertake any exercise at your own risk.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app, including loss of locally stored data — please use the built-in backup feature.
Your data
Your runs and settings are stored on your device and remain yours. See the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, artwork, and content are © 2026 Rise to 5K, all rights reserved. The Manrope and JetBrains Mono typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
